As an artist, the longing to make pictures and tell stories started for me in early childhood... So you can only imagine how happy I was to be asked to work with our children's museum, Discovery Center Museum (Rockford, Illinois), on creating an outdoor space for gardening for the little ones. This week, I began painting the poles as the guardians of the garden... THE RABBITS! Many children stopped by to watch me paint. Their eyes so wide.
